Offloading & total contact casting

Taking pressure off a foot wound so it can heal, the most important step for diabetic foot ulcers.

What it is

A wound that is walked on cannot heal. A total contact cast, removable walker boot or custom footwear spreads pressure away from the ulcer. After healing, custom shoes and insoles help keep new ulcers from forming.
